Initially practising in all areas of general common law, Lisa obtained a broad spectrum of experience in crime, family, employment, personal injury, contract, negligence (including professional negligence), nuisance, general civil and landlord and tenant before specialising in civil work, in which she now practises exclusively.
Lisa’s particular area of expertise is residential landlord and tenant matters: rent arrears, succession to tenancies, unauthorised occupancy, antisocial behaviour, nuisance, disrepair, homelessness and allocations and unlawful eviction. She also accepts instructions in cases concerning rights of first refusal, party walls, forfeiture, mortgage possession, service charges, licences to alter and long leases.Lisa acts for a wide range of clients including local authorities, social landlords, private landlords and tenants and appears before both tribunals and courts as an advocate. Since 2005 she has been accredited for public access and regularly accepts public access instructions for advisory work, advocacy and drafting.
Lisa is currently Chambers’ Senior Complaints officer, Chambers’ representative for the Lambeth and Southwark Barristers Framework and is an active member of Chambers’ Management Board.

In her spare time Lisa enjoys time with her family and friends, climbing, cycling, trampolining and attending science lectures at the Royal Institution. Lisa takes part in the London-Brighton bike ride each summer to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.Privacy Notice
