Situated just off Chancery Lane, to the rear of Staple Inn, Chambers occupy a distinctive setting in the heart of legal London.
Staple Inn Chambers was founded in July 1991 by a group of eight experienced practitioners and has grown over the years to be recognised as a modern, friendly set of chambers with a working environment appreciated by members and instructing solicitors alike.
As a multi-disciplinary set, our barristers specialise in one or more of the following areas of law : civil litigation, crime, family, landlord & tenant housing, immigration, property law including the Party Wall etc. Act.
Chambers comprises 19 barristers, including members and some door tenants as well as associate members, whose details appear herein with specific areas of expertise listed under each member’s individual profile.
Although emphasis is placed on London and the South East, members accept instructions to appear throughout England and Wales. Languages spoken by members include French, German, Greek, Italian, Spanish and Welsh.
Chambers’ ethos is based upon its constitution which incorporates the Bar Code of Conduct, Equality Code, and Equal Opportunities Policy.
